BY-LAWS OF THE WHITE MOUNTAINS REGIONAL HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETIC BOOSTER CLUB

Article I. NAME, PURPOSE & OBJECTIVES

Section 1.01-NAME: The name of the organization shall be the WHITE MOUNTAINS REGIONAL HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETIC BOOSTER CLUB, or the Club.

Section 1.02-Purpose: The purpose of the Club is to promote athletic excellence, good sportsmanship and character building relationships among athletes, coaches, parents and athletic director.

a. Develop an organization with an active and involved membership that is concerned with all athletic programs and its participants regardless of sex, race, socioeconomic status or particular sports activity.

b. Promote school spirit, sportsmanship and encourage attendance at all Spartan athletic events.

c. Provide supplementary financial support for the various athletic activities through coaches, students and athletic director.

d. Provide a concession stand for all home games and events.

e. Provide support for additional activities and athletic events as needed.

Section 1.03-Non-Profit Status: This organization is listed as a charitable organization under the New Hampshire State's Attorney General Office and a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization under the US Internal Revenue Service and will follow the guidance of each as stated.

ARTICLE II-MEMBERSHIP AND FEES

Section 2.01-Membership: The Club is open to all interested parents and family members or relatives, friends, guardians, alumni and/or community member.

Section 2.02-Membership Fee: None

ARTICLE III-Officers

Section 3.01-Officers: The officers shall consist of two (2) Co-chairs, Secretary and Treasurer. There shall also be elected at large members whose responsibilities are described in Article IV.

a. Elections-The officers and the at large members shall be elected by a majority vote of those members present at the business meeting held in May.

b. Nominations-Nominees for officers will be those who have been an active member of the club over the past year and/or have agreed to serve for positions of officers or at large members.

c. Terms of office-A term is one year, July 1 through June 30. An individual may not serve in the same elective capacity for more than two consecutive terms with the exception of Treasurer, which can serve for four consecutive terms.
