Building A Track and Field For Sparta
The White Mountains Regional High School Spartans Booster Club is committed to fund the construction of an eight lane 100 meter sprint track and 6 lane 400 meter oval rubberized track with a regulation soccer pitch in its center on the campus of White Mountains Regional High School, Whitefield, New Hampshire. The "Boosters" have formed a 501 (c) (3) Non-Profit Organization. This is significant since it allows subcontractors to utilize their expenses for tax purposes. Contributions are tax deductible.
This new track and field facility will also support soccer, field hockey, ultimate Frisbee, physical education and a community gathering place.
Funds will be raised through: Grant applications, Trust funds, Corporate sponsors, "Go Fund Me Page," and Donations. Much of the preliminary construction work will hopefully be provided by local contractors taking advantage of the "Boosters" Non-Profit status.
Construction and acquisition of equipment for this project will not use taxpayers' money.
We will not take contributions from local little leagues, junior and senior high athletic and extracurricular activities or draw funds from on-going WMRHS Booster activities.
